Nominations due December 1 for Dept. of Commerce's Marine Protected Areas Federal Advisory Committee
The Department of Commerce and NOAA are seeking nominations for membership on the Marine Protected Areas Federal Advisory Committee. The Committee advises the Secretaries of Commerce and Interior on implementing strategies and priorities for the design, monitoring, and adaptive management of effective marine protected areas in U.S. waters. Nominations must be received by Dec 1, 2018. To ensure the recreational marine community is represented, NMMA encourages its members to apply as the Committee is seeking two representatives from recreational fishing. Anyone is eligible to nominate someone and self-nominations are accepted.
