ICYMI: U.S. Total Boat Registrations Report for 2021 Now Available
NMMA reported late last month that the 2021 US Total Boat Registrations Report is now available. There were 12 million boats registered and documented boats in the U.S. in 2021, up 1% compared to 2020.
The top five states for boat registrations in 2021 were:
- Florida
- Minnesota
- Michigan
- California
- Ohio
By region, the Great Lakes region accounted for 33.8% of all state boat registrations in 2021, followed by the South Atlantic at 17% and the Gulf Coast at 10.7%.
