Share How Your Company is Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary
As the nation prepares to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary over the Fourth of July holiday, NMMA is inviting members to share how they are helping celebrate this historic milestone.
This includes The Great American Expedition, a nationwide initiative highlighting America’s public lands, waters and the people connected to them. For the recreational boating industry, the commemoration offers a meaningful opportunity to showcase the role boating plays in connecting Americans to the water, strengthening local communities and supporting stewardship of the country’s natural resources. Recreational boating is also a distinctly American manufacturing story, with a strong U.S. production footprint and broad economic impact for businesses and communities nationwide.
NMMA is compiling member stories and examples that reflect the industry’s collective participation in this once-in-a-generation anniversary. Examples may include on-water celebrations, local community events, volunteer projects, partnerships with parks or public lands, or other efforts that highlight boating’s connection to America’s outdoor recreation heritageThese efforts may be shared in future communications to help spotlight the many ways the recreational boating industry is celebrating America’s history, waterways and outdoor traditions.
Members are encouraged to contact NMMA's Bryan Spadaro with details on planned events, activities or initiatives tied to America’s 250th anniversary.
