Membership renewal for the June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027, term is now underway, providing manufacturers, suppliers and industry partners continued access to the advocacy, market development and market intelligence that support their businesses.Together, NMMA members help shape the policies, programs and initiatives that advance recreational boating.

Through Discover Boating’s portfolio of boat and sport shows, the association works to introduce new audiences to the boating lifestyle while strengthening engagement with current boaters, helping grow the pipeline of future customers for the industry.
Strengthening confidence through certification and standards
NMMA Certification helps reinforce safety, quality and compliance across the industry while aligning with technical standards developed in collaboration with organizations such as ABYC, the U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada.
Delivering industry insights to guide business decisions
Members also gain access to NMMA’s market data and industry research, providing critical intelligence to benchmark performance, monitor trends and inform strategic planning.
NMMA membership provides access to a range of resources, including market research publications, regulatory updates and economic impact reports. In FY2025, NMMA introduced new industry data reports, expanded compliance certifications and enhanced trade show opportunities, equipping members with the tools needed to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving global market. The association also delivered key advocacy wins, most notably the withdrawal of NOAA’s proposed vessel speed rule, which would have affected boater access and coastal economies. In addition, NMMA helped secure passage of the EXPLORE Act.
Renewal invoices for the upcoming membership year have been distributed, with payment requested by May 1. Members can complete their renewal through the NMMA Member Portal.
