Each year, ABC convenes more than 200 CEOs and senior executives from boat, engine, accessory and technology manufacturers alongside leaders from the recreational boating and fishing community. The event provides the recreational boating industry with access to policymakers and administration officials, creating a powerful opportunity to influence decisions that affect their businesses and the broader boating economy.

As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, ABC 2026 will focus on policies that support American manufacturing, protect access to the water, and strengthen the industry’s long-term competitiveness.

Planned discussions will center on priority topics, including:

• Boater Access and Infrastructure: Exploring federal policies, such as the Water Resources Development Act and the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund, which have critical implications for water access.
• State Government Relations: Highlighting key legislative trends, priorities and challenges emerging in state capitols.
• Trade and Tariffs: Discussing the trade and economic landscape facing the industry, including USMCA negotiations, tariffs and ongoing supply chain considerations.
• Regulatory Issues: Addressing current and emerging regulatory topics impacting marine manufacturers, including EPA’s TSCA process and the Department of Labor’s proposed OSHA heat standard.

ABC 2026 will feature policy briefings, issue-focused sessions and meetings with lawmakers and administration officials, providing the recreational boating industry with a direct voice in Washington at a pivotal time for the industry.
