Mid-Atlantic Boat Show Reflects Steady Buyer Interest in Southeast
The Discover Boating Mid-Atlantic Boat Show, in partnership with Progressive®, wrapped Sunday at the Charlotte Convention Center, bringing together dealers, boating enthusiasts and buyers from across the Carolinas and Southeast. Celebrating more than 50 years as the region’s largest boat show, the event marked its opening day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring North Carolina officials, local business leaders and show management.
The 2026 Mid-Atlantic Boat Show featured dozens of exhibitors and more than 400 boats, delivering a platform for new boat sales. While attendance was slightly below 2025 levels, several exhibitors reported steady traffic, sales and promising leads.
New show features helped round out the onsite experience and attract a broad audience, including an Opening Night Dock Party, daily live entertainment, and activations with local partners, including the Charlotte Football Club and Lake Wylie Race Team. An appearance by Hornets’ mascot Hugo on Saturday added family-friendly appeal and contributed to overall weekend energy.
