NMMA CSI Awards Recognize 61 Manufacturers Exceeding Customer Satisfaction Benchmarks

During the Industry Breakfast at the Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show®, NMMA presented 2025 Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Awards to 61 boat and engine manufacturers in recognition of their sustained commitment to customer satisfaction.

Now in its 25th year, the Marine Industry CSI Awards spotlight manufacturers that consistently put the customer at the center of their business, from product performance to the end-to-end ownership experience. Award recipients earned a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or higher based on independently collected feedback from new boat and engine buyers.

To qualify, participating manufacturers are required to survey all new customers throughout the program year. For the 2025 reporting period, the CSI program captured insights from more than 175,000 boaters, measuring satisfaction across product quality, the sales and delivery process, and ongoing service and support. Customer purchases evaluated for this year’s awards occurred between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2025.

“As consumer expectations continue to rise, delivering a strong ownership experience extends well beyond the boat itself,” said Robert Newsome, chief administrative officer and senior vice president of operations at NMMA. “These manufacturers stand out for their commitment to listening to customers, investing in continuous improvement, and working closely with dealers to ensure boaters feel supported long after the sale. That focus is essential to building trust and fostering long-term participation in boating.”
The Marine Industry CSI Awards recognize companies across 12 categories that have demonstrated excellence in customer satisfaction and continuous improvement within the recreational boating industry.
