NMMA, Progressive Ring NYSE Closing Bell to Spotlight Recreational Boating and Boat Shows
On Wednesday, NMMA and Progressive Insurance® (NYSE: PGR) participated in the Closing Bell® ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to mark opening day of the 2026 Discover Boating New York Boat Show®, in partnership with Progressive, and to highlight the economic impact of the U.S. recreational boating industry.
To commemorate the occasion, Frank Hugelmeyer, NMMA president and CEO, and Dominic Mediate, Progressive Insurance business leader, direct property acquisition, rang the Closing Bell alongside members of the NMMA and its Market Expansion Advisory Group and the Progressive Insurance team.
Hugelmeyer was interviewed immediately following Closing Bell for NYSE’s Taking Stock, a live, globally televised program featuring market insights, executive interviews, and fintech trends as the trading day closes.
