Celebrating National Manufacturing Day: Honoring America’s Makers
Today, October 3, the manufacturing community will come together nationwide to celebrate Manufacturing Day (MFG Day), an annual opportunity held on the first Friday of October to showcase the innovation, career pathways, and economic impact of modern manufacturing.
Across the country, companies, trade associations and educational institutions are hosting plant tours, student open houses, career fairs, hands-on demonstrations, and community roundtables. These events give students, parents, educators, and local leaders an inside look at how products are made, the technologies driving innovation, and the career opportunities available in manufacturing.
Together, these efforts shine a spotlight on an industry that is not only vital to the U.S. economy but also central to advancing innovation and sustainability.
NMMA would like to hear about your organization’s MFG Day efforts this year to help shine a spotlight on manufacturing and our industry. Share your photos and stories of success with Rebecca Egsieker at [email protected].
