IBEX Education Lineup Announced, Includes Main Stage Panel on Trade and Tariffs
The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) has announced its 2025 Education Conference lineup, featuring an expanded schedule of seminars, workshops, and Main Stage sessions for marine industry professionals.
A key highlight will be an Oct. 7 panel on managing tariffs, trade, and supply chain risk, led by NMMA's Robyn Boerstling, senior vice president of government relations. The discussion will cover USMCA renegotiations, global trade challenges, and how the industry can present a unified voice to policymakers.
Additional Main Stage speakers include Dr. Thomas Dammrich, former NMMA president; Cecil Cohn, Freedom Boat Club president; and Mark Reedenauer, president of NMEA, who will share insights on industry growth and innovation.
The Technical Seminar Series will deliver more than 50 sessions on topics ranging from yacht coatings and engine room inspections to AI applications, digital switching, and foiling technology. Attendees earn one CEU per verified training hour.
Also returning are free Tech Talks, exhibitor-led Pre-Conference sessions, and Student Career Day (Oct. 9), designed to connect students with employers and job opportunities in the marine sector.
“IBEX serves as a central hub for collaboration and real-time problem solving to bring together some of the brightest minds in boatbuilding, with its educational lineup at the cornerstone,” said Mary Velline, IBEX Show Director. “We know that our industry is facing new challenges every day and the best way to face those challenges is by learning and working together. We are very excited to bring educational opportunities to every level of marine business through this year’s expanded schedule.”
Early Bird pricing for Education Conference packages is available through Sept. 5.
IBEX takes place Oct. 7–9, 2025, at the Tampa Convention Center.
