Happening Today: NMMA Canada’s Day on the Hill Elevates Boating’s Voice with Members of Parliament
Today in Ottawa, NMMA Canada members will engage with Members of Parliament from all political parties, highlight support from parties of all political parties and enhance industry collaboration during NMMA Canada’s Day on the Hill. The annual legislative event provides an opportunity for members to voice industry concerns and propose solutions directly to those in positions to effect change on key policy priorities, including repealing the luxury tax, ensuring access to waterways and advocating for investment in outdoor infrastructure.
NMMA Canada's Day on the Hill will conclude with a reception for Parliamentarians and staffers along the historic Rideau Canal. This event is positioned to Parliamentarians as the "official kick off to boating season" and serves as a vehicle to strengthen relationships between industry representatives and policymakers, emphasizing the recreational boating sector's importance to Canada's economy and culture.
NMMA Canada would like to thank this year’s Day on the Hill sponsors: Legend Boats, Boating Ontario, CMRA, Mercury, Yamaha, BRP, and Mustang Survival.
