Discover Boating on the Airwaves Across the U.S. to Kick Off Summer
To mark National Fishing and Boating Week and spark excitement for the summer boating season, Discover Boating hit the airwaves last week with a nationwide satellite media tour (SMT) from the Long Island Sound. NMMA’s Ellen Bradley conducted a series of back-to-back interviews with TV and radio outlets from MarineMax Huntington (NY) and brought recreational boating into the national spotlight —highlighting how accessible, fun, and rewarding it is to get on the water. “Satellite media tours are a powerful way to reach millions of Americans and invite them to experience the freedom, relaxation, and connections that only boating delivers,” said Ellen Bradley, NMMA’s senior vice president of marketing and communications. “For Discover Boating, this format provided an efficient and impactful opportunity to amplify awareness of boating, inspire the next generation, and meet potential boat buyers where they are consuming media, whether that’s in their homes, in their cars, or on their devices.”
The Discover Boating SMT secured more than 25 TV and radio placements across top-tier markets including Los Angeles, Seattle, Detroit, and more, significantly boosting visibility for recreational boating and helpful resources from Discover Boating, powered by NMMA and MRAA. Segments will continue airing throughout the summer season.
