Press Conference Held Announcing Move of Chicago Boat Show to Rosemont

On Tuesday, the Discover Boating Chicago Boat Show®, in partnership with Progressive Insurance®, held a press conference to address its move from McCormick Place to the Donald E. Stephens Convention & Conference Center (DES Convention Center) in Rosemont, IL. The event generated mass awareness throughout the Chicagoland region, spurring more than two dozen news hits across top tier outlets, from ABC News Radio, to WLS-TV (ABC), WMAQ-TV (NBC), and WBBM-TV (CBS). The Chicago Boat Show is one of the largest and longest-running consumer boat shows in the country and big business generator for the region’s boating industry. Celebrating 93 years, the boat show is set to anchor for the first time at the DES Convention Center Jan. 8-12. Tickets are on sale now.
