National Fishing & Boating Week Begins June 1, Celebrate on the Water

With summer officially started, this is the perfect time to encourage family members and friends to get out on the water and connect. Join the industry this week in celebrating National Fishing and Boating Week, June 1-9.

 

 

 

Here are a few ways to participate and share with customers:

  1. Find resources and ways to celebrate on Discover Boating’s website
  2. Celebrate National Fishing and Boating Week with Others: Share your favorite fishing and boating memory, and experiences during National Fishing and Boating Week, and spread the word about the joys and benefits of fishing and boating through your social media channels with the hashtag #NFBW2024.
  3. Attend an Event: Many states are offering free fishing days during National Boating and Fishing Week, and there are numerous fishing events being held hosted by organizations like the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, such as how-to clinics, fishing debris, boat parades and more.
  4. Mentor or Teach Someone New to Boat and Fish: Own a boat? Take someone new with you this week!
  5. Share this National Celebration on Social Media: Join others in sharing the joys of boating and fishing by spreading the word through your social media channels.
