Discover Boating New York, Louisville Shows Open Today
Winter boat sales momentum continues as the Discover Boating New York and Louisville shows close out the first month of the New Year, both opening today and running through Sunday.
The Discover Boating New York Boat Show, in partnership with Progressive Insurance, opens at Noon today followed by the inaugural Opening Night Party benefiting Billion Oyster Project. The kickoff celebration includes oyster tastings, notable chef and mixologist demos and samplings, live entertainment, and a sneak peek into New York’s new Discover Boating Beach Club.
Ahead of show opening, the NMMA and Progressive Insurance will mark the 2023 NY Boat Show during the Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange. NYC media – both local and national – are onsite this morning and throughout the week to shine a spotlight on boat show offerings and participating exhibitors, as well as Discover Boating and the state of the industry.
Cruising into the Kentucky Exposition Center starting at 5p.m. today, the Discover Boating Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow, in partnership with Progressive Insurance, will open its doors to thousands of boating and outdoors enthusiasts throughout its five-day run. In addition to the hundreds of boats, RVs and outdoors accessories on display, there’s a host of activities for returning attendees and newcomers alike. Highlights of this year’s show include the new Wake Zone, daily live entertainment, a paddle sports pool, Fred’s Shed How-to-Center presented by Progressive Insurance, and more.
