Representative Buddy Carter Visits NMMA Member Chaparral for Plant Tour, Meeting with Local Business Leaders

Representative Buddy Carter (R-GA-01) met with NMMA member Chaparral Boats, Inc. and members of the local business community late last week to discuss a number of priorities for the recreational boating industry, including workforce development, supply chain issues, infrastructure, and climate change.

Business leaders met with Representative Carter, member of the Congressional Boating Caucus who serves the areas of Savannah and Brunswick, Georgia - both of which are primary ports for the shipping of Chaparral’s international boats – following a plant tour and received updates on several bills recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and headed to the U.S. Senate for a vote.
