Correct Craft Welcomes FL State Representative David Smith to Their Facility

Just before Thanksgiving, Florida State Representative David Smith (District 28) visited Correct Craft’s headquarters in Orlando, providing him with the opportunity to learn about the manufacturer’s business and the boating industry’s broader economic impact. NMMA members have hosted more than 30 elected officials at their facilities in 2019, which are invaluable advocacy engagements that the association strongly encourages.

During the visit, Representative Smith toured Correct Craft’s facility, where he met many of the company’s employees and witnessed firsthand the high-quality jobs that the recreational boating industry creates. Additionally, Representative Smith and members of the Correct Craft team discussed the importance of sound environmental policies, clean water, and healthy natural resources to the industry.

“Our team was thrilled to have Representative Smith visit us and learn about both Correct Craft and our industry,” said Bill Yeargin, president and CEO of Correct Craft. “After serving our country for 30 years in the Marines, Representative Smith is now committed to serving Florida full-time. I deeply appreciate his interest in learning about our industry and issues that are important to us.”
