Progressive® Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show® Opens Today

The 2018 Progressive® Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show® opens today and runs through Sunday, March 4 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The Show fills more than a half-million square feet with 500 boats and 300 exhibitors offering the latest in boats, marine accessories, fishing gear and technology.

Highlights this year, include:
  • The Touch-a-Boat Tour for kids features actual working vessels from the U.S. Coast Guard, Sea Tow and a variety of recreational boats throughout the Show floor. Plus, youngsters who want to take their boating to the next level can participate in the Jr. Captains Program, a boating skills and safety education program developed by the Annapolis School of Seamanship.
  • The first official NJ Boating Career Day takes place March 1 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. inviting New Jersey and Philadelphia high school, college and trade school students to chart a career in the recreational boating industry.
  • Shop, Save & Win Big on “Super Thursday” – Elevate savings, shopping and boat show fun to superstar levels at our annual “Super Thursday” on Thursday, March 1.   • Support “Let Us Eat, Please” – Did you know 1 in 5 kids in New Jersey are hungry? Help make a difference on Thursday, March 1, at The Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show’s Captain’s Table Gala, a special fundraiser for “Let Us Eat, Please” and the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, local nonprofits that help deliver meals to kids in need. Plus, stop by the Let Us Eat Please kiosk and donate a dollar for the chance to win a Deluxe Fishing Trip from Canyon Runner (a $1,000 value)!
  • Progressive® Boat Club: Attendees can boost their nautical know-how with top-notch mariners from the Annapolis School of Seamanship teaching hands-on boating courses for all levels of experience. Visitors can also try Progressive’s NEW Oculus Rift virtual reality experience, putting themselves at the helm of a virtual boat race.
The Show has also been making waves with local media including Press of Atlantic City, Atlantic City Weekly, SNJ Today Online. Plus, media and TV crews are scheduled to cover the Show throughout the week.
