Three Boat Shows Kick Off Today in Nashville, Atlanta & Kansas City

Today, the Progressive® Insurance Nashville Boat Show®, the Progressive® Insurance Atlanta Boat Show® and The Progressive® Insurance Kansas City Boat & Sportshow® open for a four-day run featuring hundreds of the latest boat models, accessories and the latest technology.
 
The Progressive Insurance Nashville Boat Show will take place at the Music City Center, filling 180,000 square feet with 300 boats and the latest in marine products and technology. In addition to the boats, the show has added a lineup of exciting features and seminars to draw attendees, including the free Kids Fishing Clinics taught by former NFL player Kendall Newson, founder of the Teach a Kid to Fish Foundation. The show has also been making waves in local media, with the Tennessean running a feature story this week and TV crews are scheduled to come to the show throughout the weekend.  
 
The Progressive Insurance Atlanta Boat Show is at the Georgia World Congress Center, filling 415,000 square feet with more than 600 boats, marine accessories and the latest technology. New to the Show this year is Boats & Brews on Thursday and Friday as part of $5 after 5 p.m. with Red Hare Brewing Co., attendees can also donate a life jacket for $3 off their admission any day of the Show which are donated to SPLASH, and on the weekend local CBS 46 news anchors will be reading nautical stories to kids, plus visitors can donate books to their charity. The Show has been blanketing local media outlets, including the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Northside Neighbor, and numerous blogs, including Southern Family Lifestyle, plus news crews are scheduled to be on site throughout the Show.
 
The Progressive Insurance Kansas City Boat & Sportshow opens today at Bartle Hall, filling 270,000 square feet with more than 300 boats, outdoor gear and the latest technology.  New to the Show this year is Boats & Brews on Friday night with Boulevard Brewing Co. offering attendees an $8 ticket, live music, food trucks and more, plus Lumber Jill’s will be performing their log rolling and axe throwing skills, Cabela's has an archery range for kids and Progressive® Boat Club will have their new Oculus Rift virtual reality experience that simulates a virtual boat race. The Show has also been making waves with local media, including KMBC, the Kansas City Star and scheduled TV crews and media throughout the Show.
