Yamaha shares industry concerns on RFS in Houston Chronicle editorial
Last Friday, January 12, Yamaha Marine Group President, Ben Speciale, bylined an opinion editorial that ran in the Houston Chronicle--one of the top newspapers in Texas. Yamaha lent their voice to the editorial as part of NMMA's ongoing advocacy communications efforts to generate a louder voice for our industry's concerns surrounding the Renewable Fuel Standard. Texas Senator Ted Cruz has been active on the issue and to make noise and make clear our industry's position in his home state, NMMA worked with Yamaha's Kilgore, TX-based Skeeter Boats, to place the editorial.
Raising the voice of members, is one of the best ways NMMA is able to achieve our industry's policy priorities. Demonstrating the local business impact of important decisions being made on Capitol Hill is a critical way we are able to more effectively advocate on behalf of the industry.
