SeaStar Solutions Voices Support for Modern Fish Act
In an opinion editorial, NMMA member SeaStar Solutions called on Congress to work together to pass the Modern Fish Act.
Alex Holtschulte, director of supply chain at SeaStar Solutions, noted in The State Journal-Register that by passing the Modern Fish Act, "recreational anglers who fish federal waters would see the frustrations of unwarranted restrictions relieved by practical, modern management approaches; thousands of businesses supported by saltwater recreational fishing would experience a much-needed boost; and the conservation of our natural resources would be ensured by improved data collection."
NMMA and its partners continue to push for the passage of the Modern Fish Act, as the legislation has continued to garner strong bipartisan support in both the U.S. Senate and House.
