The Science, Technology, Engineering and Production (STEP) Ahead Awards recognize women in manufacturing who exemplify leadership within their companies.Nominations for the 2018 Awards are now being accepted.  

STEP Ahead honors women on a national platform—from the factory floor to the C-suite—who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in manufacturing. We hope that you, as a champion of the manufacturing industry, will share this opportunity with your companies, communities and networks to nominate a female peer or colleague for this prestigious award.

Last year's winners within the marine industry included: Kris Carroll, President, Grady-White Boats, Inc; Jan Morton, Vice President of supply chain for Brunswick Boat Group; Katelyn Vara, Project Engineer of Mercury Marine; and Marcea Weiss, Plant Operation Manager of Mercury Marine. Past marine industry winners include Marcia Kull, Lori Melbostad, Ann Baldree and Joan Maxwell. Women in the marine industry continue to make waves and are being recognized for their significant impact, leadership and success.
