The Finnish Marine Industries Federation FINNBOAT is pleased to announce that as OF January 2, 2017, Jarkko Pajusalo has been appointed CEO of Finnboat – replacing Jouko Huju, who has been appointed Chairman of the Board.

 

Pajusalo has a strong business and organizational background. He has worked for, among others, UPM Kymmene's USA division and for Outukumppu in Belgium. He has also worked for Finpro Ry in Finland and most recently as director of business activities in Fintra Ltd.

 

After leading Finnboat activities for 21 years, Jouko Huju has retired from the position of CEO and at the Federation's 2016 autumn conference; Huju was chosen to lead the board of the Federation for 2017. He also continues as president of ICOMIA and as chairman of the Helsinki International Boat Show.
