This week, 90 NMMA member companies will participate in the largest NMMA U.S.A. Pavilion of exhibiting companies in the 28 year history of the event. The Marine Equipment Trade Show (METSTRADE) opens today and runs through November 17 in Amsterdam, attracting more than 22,000 professionals from 112 countries. The NMMA U.S.A. Pavilion will be the third largest country pavilion at the event.

“We’re looking forward to a successful event this week and are prepared to help connect our members with international buyers at the show,” said Julie Balzano, NMMA director of Export Development, “We have created plenty of networking and meeting opportunities for our members in coordination with our strategic partners at the U.S. Department of Commerce.”

In addition to the companies participating as part of the U.S.A. Pavilion, dozens more NMMA member companies will be independently displaying at METSTRADE. Sponsors of the U.S.A. Pavilion include the State of North Carolina, E&P Marine Inc., Trend Marine Products and Blue Water Shipping. The State of Washington is also joining the pavilion for the first time this year to highlight their state’s respective recreational boating industry.  Stay tuned to Currents this week for daily reports from the show.
