Impressive speaker line-up at ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2016 Announced

RAI Amsterdam, in partnership with the ICOMIA Marinas Group and HISWA Holland Marine Industry Association, has released the speaker line-up for the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference, to be held November 17-19, 2016 in Amsterdam. With this year’s theme ‘Future of marinas in a changing world’ in mind, over forty world-class experts will present their views and inspire the delegates. Keynote speaker Adjiedj Bakas will share his distinct - somewhat provocative but always positive - vision on the world and future developments. The conference offers an exceptional learning experience for professionals in the marina and nautical tourism fields. Three days of innovation, inspiration, best practices, insider-insights, market solutions and site visits will provide the knowledge and tools to get ahead in the global marina industry.

With more than 40 speakers from in and outside the industry, representing leading organisations from all over the world, the ninth edition of ICOMIA World Marinas Conference promises to deliver a very high programme quality. Speakers include Gary Groenewold (Westrec Marinas), Elio Ciralli (Envitek), Carol Fulford (Marina World) and Kenny Jones (IGY Marinas). The topics of the plenary sessions will be the state of the global marina industry, new opportunities in emerging markets different approaches to marina management and uniting public and private sector. Breakout sessions will provide delegates with the opportunity to learn about and discuss new ideas in marina development, innovative solutions in marina operations, marketing and customer care, the diversity of regulations and legislation related to marinas and boating, financing, and environmental legislation. On Friday morning 18 November there will be a special matchmaking event, invaluable for on-going business success.
