Miami to launch Marine Service Technology Program
The City of Miami Commission unanimously approved last week Commissioner Frank Carollo's resolution to use his Anti-Poverty Initiative funds to create a permanent Local Marine Service Technology Program in Miami. NMMA supported the launch of this education and training program, which will prepare men and women interested in working within the marine industry.
The program will start in August with 20 students at Miami’s Lindsey Hopkins Technical College. Click here for more information on the program.
