New Powerboat Registrations Up in 2015
NMMA reports new registrations of traditional powerboats and personal watercraft were up 7.6% in 2015. Nearly all categories posted gains, with the exception of sterndrive boats which were down -7% from 2014.
Among high-volume regions, growth was led by the South Atlantic region (spanning the Atlantic Coast from Delaware south to Florida) up 8.5% YOY and the East North region (Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin) up 7.4% YOY.
