Media Get Sneak Peek of Miami International Boat Show
With the Miami International Boat Show just two weeks away, staff hosted more than 30 members of the media for a preview of the show’s new home at Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin, resulting in media coverage that’s getting attendees from around the Miami region excited for this year’s show.
Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado kicked off the event alongside show director, Cathy Rick-Joule, Dock and Marine’s Glen Larsen, Coastal Systems’ Penny Cutt, Restore Marine Stadium’s Don Worth, the show’s transportation director, George Navarro, and the Rusty Pelican’s head chef, Jimmy Pastor.
The successful media day showcased the show’s new venue, including the comprehensive transportation plan, high-end tents erected for the upland portion of the show, and construction of the docks, as well as the extensive food and beverage offerings new to the 2016 show.
