NMMA Letter Urges Congress to Renew Tax Provisions
Recently, NMMA signed on to a letter which was circulated to the full House and Senate, urging lawmakers to swiftly enact legislation to renew critical tax provisions that will spur much needed economic growth. The letter, signed by more than 200 associations and companies, calls on Congress to make permanent, or at a minimum renew for multiple years, a series of provisions that expired in 2014—including bonus depreciation and enhanced section 179 expensing. These provisions would bring much needed certainty for manufacturers to compete globally.
