San Francisco Boat Show moves to Martin Luther King Day weekend
The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced today the 2016 Progressive Insurance San Francisco Boat Show will move to Martin Luther King Day weekend and from its traditional Thursday-Sunday format to Friday-Monday, January 15-18, 2016. NMMA anticipates the move to be a positive change for both consumers and exhibitors, furthering momentum from the first two years of the show, which has bolstered winter sales for the Northern California marine industry.
“By moving the show to this new date pattern, we can capitalize on a three-day weekend and hope to draw more visitors and families to the show. The transition also takes the San Francisco show off the Seattle Boat Show and San Diego Sunroad Boat Show weekends, allowing the show to grow and exhibitors the chance to participate in every West Coast winter boat show,” noted Dave Geoffroy, VP, NMMA West.
