NMMA member Springfield Marine celebrated their 25^th anniversary in China at the Shanghai Boat Show, April 9-12, 2015.

 

The 20^th annual show marked Springfield Marine’s 25 year mark since beginning their joint venture between their China Production Facility (SHECO) and their USA Corporation (Springfield Marine).

 

In 1990 Caroline and Garnett Carnahan replicated the production facility of the Nixa, MO plant in Shanghai China with a strategy to bring the brand globally.  Now in its 25^th year, the China facility has expanded to over 750,000 sq. ft. and produces almost all the Springfield Marine product offerings from raw materials to finished goods. The plant now ship products across North America, Europe, Australia and the developing Asia marine markets.
