NMMA Members Pleased with Results at METS
The Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) came to a close last evening in Amsterdam after three days of welcoming thousands of marine professionals from across the globe. By and large, NMMA members participating in the U.S.A. Pavilion were pleased with the amount of traffic and sales leads they obtained at the show.
"We had a great show, today we signed up a new dealer within the first 30 minutes of opening. We utilized the Global Chat appointments through NMMA to present our products to the U.S. Commercial Service trade specialists which has already presented us with new opportunities in Northern Italy, Turkey, Croatia and Spain.” -Vicky Abernathy, President, Aere Marine Group
"This is an important show for us, we see all of our international customers in one place and find new ones each year."- Michael Gibbs, General Manager, Barr Marine
"We came to the show to investigate the opportunities for North Carolina marine businesses and report back on the results. This is a great show, and easy city to get around and we look forward to helping more North Carolina companies get to METS."- Glenn Jackman, Director of Marine Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina
METS 2015 will be held November 10-12 once again at the Amsterdam RAI. For information on joining the NMMA U.S.A. Pavilion please contact Julie Balzano, Export Development Director at [email protected].
