The National Marine Manufacturers Association team has been deeply inspired and moved by the demonstrations occurring across the country. As this difficult situation has unfolded, we have struggled with the question of how to speak up without detracting from this much needed conversation. To be clear, we stand with the families who have lost loved ones at the hands of police brutality, the peaceful protestors, and everyone who wants to make our country a better and more equal place for all. At this time, we strongly believe the most important thing we can do is listen to those who are on the frontlines in the fight against racial inequality and work to make our organization and community more diverse and inclusive. We are committed to learning from this historic moment, being part of the solution, and implementing meaningful changes in the days ahead.
