Boating United Advocates Take Action at a Record Level to Protect Access During COVID-19

Since Boating United launched its “Protect Boating Access” campaign last week, nearly 8,000 advocates have taken action by urging their governor to keep boating open during this time of social distancing – a milestone that shattered the previous record for most advocacy actions taken in one week on the grassroots platform. A large portion of these advocates are in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, where all three governors worked together to reopen public boat ramps and marinas over the weekend.

The Protect Boating Access campaign is still running, and the Boating United team is encouraging all recreational boating community stakeholders to contact their governor. Click here to take action.
