Key Washington, D.C. Media Figures Join NMMA for Boat Outing on the Potomac

Last week, NMMA hosted more than 10 top political and policy reporters from major Beltway and national publications for a boat cruise up the Potomac River. The boat outing is part of NMMA’s strategic plan to expand the association’s profile in Washington, D.C. among key constituencies, including the media.

During the event, NMMA representatives provided insights about the recreational boating industry to the reporters and the association’s role in advocating for and advancing the industry’s priorities. Additionally, the NMMA team and media attendees discussed some of the most pressing issues facing marine manufacturers.

Similar to BoatPAC outings, boat cruises with media figures and other stakeholders are a critical component of bolstering NMMA’s advocacy efforts in the nation’s capital.
