American Boating Congress Draws Big Names in Washington

Today marks the final day of the 2018 American Boating Congress. To cap off a busy week of recreational boating advocacy, several high profile speakers are scheduled to address attendees. For part two of ABC’s General Session, Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, will address the group following breakfast. Following Pruitt will be keynote speaker Chris Wallace, award-winning journalist and host of FOX News Sunday, and heads of the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (Communications Chief Lucas Hitt), NOAA (Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet), and United States Coast Guard (Captain Jennifer Williams). Capping off ABC, U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke will speak during today’s Farewell and Awards Ceremony Lunch, which will also feature the Hammond Marine Industry Leadership Award presentation, honoring Grady-White President Kris Carroll and Regulator President Joan Maxwell.
