Virginia Delegate Leftwich Visits NMMA Member Volvo Penta in Chesapeake

Virginia Delegate Jay Leftwich, a Republican from the City of Chesapeake, Virginia (pictured here speaking with Volvo employees) recently visited NMMA member Volvo Penta's facility to host a town hall meeting. Leftwich spoke with Volvo employees about everything from jobs and workforce development to education, and answered questions on these and many other topics during his visit. NMMA was on hand for the visit and worked to educate Delegate Leftwich on the role of the recreational marine industry in the community and across the country. NMMA encourages its members to engage in advocacy by inviting a local member of Congress or state representative to your facility or plant to learn more about the impact of the recreational boating industry and your business. NMMA is here to help facilitate this process and make it a turn key experience. Contact NMMMA's Libby Yranski at or Erica Crocker at to learn more.
