Last week, U.S. Representative Ryan Costello from Pennsylvania's 6th district, visited NMMA member SeaStar Solutions. NMMA and SeaStar Solutions invited the Congressman to tour the SeaStar Solutions plant and meet with workers to understand the significant impact of their business on the community as well as the larger U.S. economy. During his visit, Congressmen Costello spoke with a number of SeaStar Solutions employees, who provided insight on the challenges and opportunities they face each day, helping bring awareness to the needs and interests of marine manufacturers. What's more, NMMA was onsite and briefed the Congressman on the economic impact of recreational boating in the state and around the U.S., our position on key policies such as tax reform, and the fact that recreational boating is a uniquely "Made in America" industry with 95% of boats sold in the U.S., made in the U.S. What's more, the local news, "The Daily Local News", ran a story on the visit.
