Attention boat, engine and marine accessory manufacturers! This Friday, October 6, is Manufacturing Day--a nationally recognized day that will be celebrated throughout the month of October. Since events can be held ANY day in October, it's not too late for you to organize a small event at your plant or facility.

Nearly 2,500 manufacturers from around the U.S. are already registered. Don't let other industries take all the spotlight! Our industry needs you to help bring attention to the great careers and career paths in marine manufacturing and the many positive economic impacts of recreatioanal boating on the local community.

Some of the marine companies already signed up include Yamaha Marine, Centurion and Supreme Boats, and Malibu Boats. Example of events include: Invite a local high school to tour your facility, invite employee families and friends to tour your plant and offer lunch, or partner with the local chamber of commerce or economic development agency for an economic showcase event.
