Behind the Scenes: Dept. of Interior Releases Video Report on Meetings with NMMA, Outdoor Industry
On Friday, the Department of Interior shared a video report on the meeting and outdoor products showcase it held last week with the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable (ORIR), which includes NMMA. NMMA President, Thom Dammrich, one of the key leaders of ORIR, helped kick off that meeting and guided Department of Interior Secretary Zinke through a showcase of American-made boats. As a result of the meeting, the Dept. of Interior announced a new outdoor recreation advisory committee to expand recreation opportunities on public lands and waters.
