Miami Boat Show ASCAP License is Music to Exhibitors’ Ears

For the first time, NMMA has secured a music license with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) for its Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show, allowing exhibitors to play music in their booths.

Ben Wold, show director for the Miami show said, “To be successful, we need to provide an experience for the attendee, creating an atmosphere that entices them and gets them excited about boating. We encourage our Miami exhibitors to take advantage of the ASCAP license we’ve secured and create a more lively and festive experience in their booth by adding music. It’s a simple way to enhance your brand and your presence at the show.”

All music played by exhibitors must be at a reasonable volume, to benefit the customers’ experience and respect your neighbor.  NMMA staff will monitor all music and has the right to adjust the volume as necessary. Please notify Ekita Shaw at [email protected] if you plan on playing music in your Miami exhibit.
