U.S. Outboard Engine Shipments Up 4.7% in 2015
U.S. outboard engine wholesale shipments were up 4.7% YOY in 2015 for NMMA’s control group of manufacturers (representing 95% of the market). Gains were led by four-strokes and higher-powered engines. Total retail sales based on warranty card registrations were up 8.7% in 2015.
