This informative webinar provided an opportunity to learn about the $20 billion investment being made in preparing for the 2016 Olympics and the opportunities being generated for recreational boating products, including competition boats, life jackets, jet skis, rowing and sailing, anchoring and more.
During this webinar, Mr. Jay Carreiro, Commercial Officer of the US Commercial Service in Rio de Janeiro reviews the current Olympic Committee’s tenders for recreational boats and related products. Tax abatements are in place for tender proposals as well as allowances for accepting products that are absent of local content.
An overview of the tender process and guidance as to how you can submit a proposal for these existing tenders was also discussed.
