NMMA

Together, making boating the preferred choice in recreation

Committee Participation

Member committee participation is vital to the health of the association. Member contributions foster a stronger sense of community within the association, and help the board to fulfill its policy-making role more efficiently by allowing board members to receive input and different viewpoints, while remaining focused on their role of governance.

Participation Guidelines

  • NMMA will compensate travel expenses for committee meetings not held in conjunction with NMMA’s annual boat shows and conferences.
  • The frequency and location of each committee meeting will be determined by committee members.
  • Committee participation is not intended for the conduct of private business at the meetings and your active participation is needed.
  • Committee participation requires the member company to have all NMMA balances paid in full.
