Hill Visits

One of the most important parts of our industry’s advocacy in Washington is meetings with Members of Congress and their staffs. During these meetings, you will visit with elected officials in their offices on Capitol Hill to discuss boating industry issues and how they specifically relate to your business and community.

Once you have registered for the conference, Hill visits will be scheduled on your behalf with the appropriate elected officials based on the physical address you provide on your registration form. These visits will be conducted individually or with others from your state or local community. If you would like to request a meeting with a Member of Congress that does not represent the district indicated by your registration address, please detail your request below along with the reason for the request (additional facilities in another location, company employees live in another district, etc.)

Hill visits will be scheduled between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 6. You will receive a personalized Hill visit itinerary the week before the conference. When you arrive at the conference, your itinerary will be confirmed. Due to the constantly changing schedules of Congressional offices, some meetings may change at the last minute.

If cancellation of this registration becomes necessary, registrants must notify NMMA no later than April 19, 2010 in order to receive a refund. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of any monies paid. All attendees must pay in advance of the conference.
