NBA player and marketing intern Ronny Turiaf goes on assignment at the Chicago Boat Show

NBA player Ronny Turiaf is known for his energy on the court, teamwork and mentoring younger players. We recently caught up with Turiaf at the Chicago In-Water Boat Show when he was put on assignment with Discover Boating to film a boating video. The video is one of Turiaf’s projects through a marketing internship he recently started with Minneapolis-based Olson, Discover Boating’s agency partner.  A communications graduate of Gonzaga University, Turiaf hopes to further his business and marketing experience through the internship, including video production, social media and operations.

During the show, we spent the day on the water with him learning the basics of captaining a boat and filming a fun video about the different types of boats featured at the show. Ronny is interested in purchasing a boat, so the video will document his experience learning at the Boat Show while he interviews different manufacturers. Outside of his work with the NBA, Ronny is co-owner of a talent management company called IVC Management, the President of a non-profit called Heart to Heart Foundation, and he enjoys being out on the water any chance he gets, which is no surprise since he grew up on the  Island of Martinique.

We look forward to sharing it with you soon and finding out what boat Ronny chooses!
