Pre-Owned Boat Market Section of 2017 Statistical Abstract Now Available
The fourth section of NMMA’s 2017 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, Pre-Owned Boat Market, is now available in the Statistics section of NMMA.org.
Data included in the 2017 Pre-Owned Boat Market section includes:
- In 2017, 988,200 boats were sold pre-owned, including: traditional powerboats, personal watercraft (PWC) and sailboats.
- Estimated pre-owned sales totaled $9.3 billion in 2017.
- In 2017, pre-owned sales growth was led by Inboard boat - ski/wakeboard boats segment, an 8.9% increase in sales from 2016.
