NMMA Statistical Abstract's Pre-Owned Boat Market Report Released, Sales Up for Second Consecutive Year

The third section of NMMA's 2016 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical AbstractPre-Owned Boat Market 2005-2016 – is now available on NMMA.org. The report shows sales of pre-owned boats in the U.S. were up for the second consecutive year in 2016, increasing 2.5 percent in units and 2 percent in dollar value. Sales of pre-owned inboard ski/wakeboard boats led the growth, up 6.8 percent in units, representing 2.1 percent of total unit sales. Additional information on pre-owned boat sales by type, hull material, propulsion and size, with historical data can be found in the complete report, which is free to NMMA members and $399 for non-members.

NMMA is releasing each section of the Statistical Abstract as statistics become available, making this critical industry data much more timely and valuable. Below is the release schedule for the remaining sections in the 2016 Statistical Abstract:
