NMMA Statistical Abstract's Sailboat Sales Trends Report Available, Data Shows Sales Up 16 Percent

As part of the new format and release schedule for NMMA's 2016 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, the second section, Sailboat Sales Trends 2005 – 2016, is now available on NMMA.org. The report illustrates that U.S. retail sales of new sailboats rebounded in 2016, up 16.1% from 2015, with imports up 35.3%. Information on production, exports and imports, total dollar sales and average prices by size category, with historical data, can be found in the complete report. Members receive unlimited complimentary access to the digital version; the report is also available for purchase by non-NMMA members via https://www.nmma.org/statistics/publications/statistical-abstract.
 
NMMA will again release each section of the Statistical Abstract as statistics become available, making this critical industry data much more timely and valuable. Below is the release schedule for the remaining sections in the 2016 Statistical Abstract:
