METS U.S.A. Pavilion Generates New Sales for Participants
The Marine Equipment Trade Show (METSTRADE) came to a close last evening in Amsterdam after three days of welcoming thousands of marine professionals from across the globe. By and large, NMMA members participating in the U.S.A. Pavilion – the largest to date with 90 exhibitors – were pleased with the amount of traffic and sales leads they obtained at the show.
“We walked the show in the past, and this was our first year in the NMMA U.S.A. Pavilion. We’re pleased with the numbers of suppliers and customers we have seen at the show,” said Dave Cook, Executive V.P./General Manager of Absolute Outdoor. “We definitely plan to return next year!”
“We just signed with a new dealer that will stock our product in Palma Majorca, Spain,” said Vicky Abernathy, COO of AERE Marine Group. “This is the first dealer stocking our product in the region, and we’re very happy with the results of the show.”
“This was our first year at METSTRADE, and we brought two companies with the goal of helping them export,” said Andrew Crowder, International Trade Specialist, State of Washington. “The support we received from NMMA was critical to our success and we plan to return to the U.S.A. pavilion next year with more companies.”
METSTRADE 2017 will be held November 14-16 once again at the Amsterdam RAI. For information on joining the NMMA U.S.A. Pavilion in 2017 please contact Julie Balzano, Export Development Director, or visit www.nmma.org/international.
